In March of 2010, my husband and I took our daughter on a trip to the Grand Canyon.  This trip was to celebrate her 21st birthday.  But, for me it meant more than that.  As she prepares to graduate next spring, I know that our spending time together as a family we be harder and harder to coordinate.  This trip for me was one I wanted to hold in my memories forever.

One night, as the sun was going down, I took a photograph of this tree, which was just starting to bloom in the late spring.  We were all out together, overlooking the beautiful canyon, watching the sun set.  This is a memory I will cherish forever, the three of us, experiencing the moment as a family.
